Labels for selected delivery services only at selected hours
Automatic label creation has a new setting for delivery services that do not work well with labels being created throughout the day.
Why
Automatic label creation creates a label for every order that reaches the Ready for dispatch status. Because this runs all day, labels are created at the delivery service a few at a time, each in a separate record.
Some delivery services do not accept that many separate records, so they had to stay out of the automation.
What is new
The automatic label creation settings have a new row, Delivery services only at selected hours. You choose the delivery services and enter the creation hours separated by commas, for example 7,14. For these delivery services, labels are created only at those hours, all at once. For all other delivery services, the automation works as before.
If you enter an hour at which automatic label creation does not run at all, the setting warns you.
The setting works together with PDF label preparation by delivery service. At the selected time, it combines the labels of the selected delivery services into one PDF and saves it in Order Management, where it waits to be printed.
