Nine months of 2026, more orders than all of 2025
Every month we publish a few figures on how Order Management is being used. This is September 2026.
TL;DR (In short)
- From January to September 2026, 23,534,461 orders were processed, more than in the whole of 2025 (23,398,718).
- September brought 2,792,288 orders, the highest September so far and 74% more than September 2025.
- All five metrics reached their highest September value.
In every chart the months run along the bottom and the years stand next to each other. 2026 is always blue. The data is the total for all users.
1. Online orders
Online orders that came into Order Management. September is lower than August, as it was in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
2. SMS notifications sent
Messages to customers about the dispatch status of their order and with invoices. In September there were 3,053,031. Only August 2026 had more. Since January there have been 20.8 million, more than in all of 2025.
3. Email notifications sent
Emails to customers about the dispatch status of their order and with invoices. In September there were 9,255,995, more than twice as many as in September 2025.
4. Abandoned carts processed
Abandoned carts picked up by the system and the reminders sent to the shopper by email or SMS. In September there were 678,249, almost twice as many as a year ago.
5. Tracking page visits
How many times customers opened the tracking page to see where their parcel is. In September there were 680,006, 2.4 times as many as in September 2025. We have counted visits since July 2025, so the 2025 data starts in July.
Ahead: November
From 2022 to 2025, November brought on average 54% more orders than September. Year by year figures are in the article Christmas comes in November for online merchants.
