Address Editor with artificial intelligence
The Address Editor module uses artificial intelligence to correct errors in addresses and to flag addresses the parcel would not reach.
What it does
Artificial intelligence checks the address on every order for home delivery. It corrects minor discrepancies itself, and the order moves on without anyone fixing it by hand.
If the address is wrong, the order is moved to the address check status, where you can see what is wrong.
Orders for delivery to a parcel locker are not checked.
An example
The basic check in the module compares the postcode, town, street and house number. For an address in Zagreb, all of this was filled in and consistent, so the order went through. Artificial intelligence recognised the address as wrong.
For one of our users, orders with wrong addresses cost about €1,000 in delivery for parcels that came back, and €9,000 in value of orders that were never delivered, in a single month.

Artificial intelligence complements the other features of the Address Editor module, from merging orders to the blacklist of customers who do not collect their parcels. The full presentation is in the webinar recording from minute 20, in Slovenian.
