Update: Recording the scanned item during dispatch
Fulfillment App and Order Management have received a
useful addition: during dispatch, the item code read by the scanner is now also recorded.
⏰️ TL;DR (In short)
- Fulfillment App now records the item code during dispatch,
whether the worker scanned it with a reader or entered it manually. - The information is visible directly on the order in Order Management.
- In case of a claim or an error, you can see exactly: who, when, and which
item code the worker confirmed.
What changed?
We started recording who and when confirmed the item during package dispatch some time ago.
With the new update, we’ve also added exactly what the worker entered – the actual item code
that the scanner read or the worker typed in manually.
The difference in display is small, but in practice – especially when resolving claims – it
brings significantly more clarity.

The value highlighted in green is new:
the scanned item code.
Why is this information useful?
With claims, the question often arises:
“Was this item even in the package?” Now the answer is recorded. If the worker confirmed the item with a scanner,
the code is recorded along with the date, time, and name. If they confirmed it manually, that will also be evident.
Where is this visible?
The information is available in two places:
- Fulfillment App (MWA – Dispatch): in the “Edit product”
dialog box, the scanned item code is now also displayed in the Scanned row. - Order Management: all recorded scanning data is visible
on the order for each individual item.
Wishing you business success,
